Delete your Tabs & Twists account

You can permanently delete your Tabs & Twists account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to the app.
2. Open your Profile.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

On the website, you can do the same from the Account page. Deletion takes effect immediately and can't be undone.

Can't access the app?

Email info@tabsandtwists.com from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and delete the account for you.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your email address
• Your display name and profile
• Your shelves
• Your ratings
• Your reviews

What is retained

Nothing is kept about your account, with two exceptions that apply only in the cases below:

• Backups: deleted data may remain in database backups, which are removed within 30 days.
• Moderation records: reviews that were flagged or hidden for breaking the community rules, or that other readers reported, are kept with the author's email address and display name for one year, so we can respond to complaints or legal claims. Only administrators can see them, and they are deleted automatically after that year.

Newsletter subscriptions are separate from accounts; use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter to stop receiving it. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
